A one day Aviation refresher course was conducted at Sewree , Mumbai on 14th May , 2010 for Test Report Signatories and Quality Control Signatories.

Total 14 participants attended the refresher course:-

The refresher course was inaugurated by Mr. R. K Khanna, Dy. Director General DGCA, WR , who apprised course participants on importance of DGCA's role as a regulatory authority. Mr. V Jacob, A M (West) briefed the group on changing scenarios in Aviation sector and importance of such refresher courses.

Sessions were conducted by Group Leader Logistics , Aviation , Chief Quality Assurance (Lubes)- HQ, Manager (Quality Assurance), Central Lab, Manager Quality Assurance Lab (Lubes)-West and Aviation Coordinator (West).

Main topics covered were as follows :-

• Changing scenarios in Aviation and importance of Quality Control. 
• Importance of Quality Assurance in Oil Company  and significance of various tests.
• CAR series E&H, New industry AQCAM.
• Calibration of master items/other items.
• ATF testing procedures  as per latest IP/IS/DEFSTAN Codes.
• Batch formation and up gradation of  tank lorries.
• A written test was also conducted at the end of the course involving all the participants.Top scorers were honored by giving token prizes.
