BPCL Aviation has added NAS Air to its list of customers.
On 2nd June , BPCL refuelled the maiden flight of NAS Air. NAS Air will be connecting Riyadh to Cochin and is a welcome addition to Airlines catering to passengers going to Gulf.
The flight landed at Cochin international airport @ 0700 am on 2/6/10 with 180 passengers on board. The flight was given a rousing reception by BPCL. Cochin International Airport welcomed NAS Air in a traditional way by putting two crash tenders lined up on either side of the taxi way and given a downpour of water jet on the aircraft as a prelude to the warm welcome extended to the flight and passengers on board by CIAL.
The flight was then taken to Bay No. 2 and further BPCL in association with CIAL received each passengers on board on the corridor of the aero-bridge in the presence of the Airport Director, Mr. ACK Nair, Mr. Mahboob Peshimam, Director of NAS Air for Indian Continent together with other officials of the airport. Both the incoming and outgoing crews were greeted with floral ecstasy by BPCL. During the chat with the captain and crew the captain remarked that “a wonderful airport” .
The flight was energized by BPCL Aviation fuel by delivering 16300 ltrs of fuel. The entire event was covered by BPCL taking the lead both in the terminal building and on the apron.
The crew present at the fuelling point thanked BPCL for the warm welcome extended by BPCL TEAM to NAS Air,The flight left for Riyadh at 0755 a.m.
